2008 League Information

Coaches, return your equipment already! (please...)

The next (and hopefully last!) equipment return date will be on Friday, July 18th from 5 to 7 pm.

Please send this email out to all of your 2008 managers and coaches as many of the hitting t’s were not returned and maybe some items showed up that need to be brought back for use next season.     If a coach will be gone on this date, please see if they can have someone bring it down for them so we are not having to have equipment brought to our home, etc.

Minor B Tigers update:

This just in...

June 24, Alameda. The Minor B Tigers had a great finish but came up short against the Alameda team on Monday night. Down 4-0 in the first inning the Tigers roared back to score 2 runs. It was going to be a battle from there on. The Alameda pitchers kept the  Tigers off track until the 6th innning. In the bottom of the inning the home team Tigers, found themselves down 7-2 and the opponents ace on the mound. In the next 20 minutes CVLL scored 4 runs and had the tying run on second when the final out was recorded. A fantastic effort and reminisent of the come backs the Tigers had all year to compile a 17-1 record.  Thank you fans for attending the game. We had a bigger crowd than the Alameda team and the kids appreciated it. Final congratuations to the wonderful kids who never gave up and played like the Champions they are today.

-Coaches Chris Snyder and Greg Redmond.
